George Sherrill was traded from Seattle to Baltimore at the end of the 2007 MLB season as part of a 5 player deal for Erik Bedard. Brian Myrow was called up at the end of the 2007 MLB season (06-Sep) to the Padres from AAA Las Vegas. Brian made the trip with the team to China in the pre-season of 2008 MLB season but on 25-Mar-2008 was optioned to AAA Portland Beavers. However, on 08-Jul-2008 Brian was called up to the San Diego Padres once again, hitting his first major league home run in a pinch hitting situation. For Brian's player page in San Diego click here. Luis Alen's contract was purchased by the New York Mets on 25-Oct-2007. Luis was sent to the Port St. Lucie Mets (A) with the extended camp. Although he's now listed on the roster, it looks like he's been assigned to the Brooklyn Cyclones of the Class A Short Season New York-Penn League. However, he doesn't show up on their roster. Corey Stang was traded from the Shaumburg Flyers to the Rockford RiverHawks of the Frontier League on 15-Apr-2008 after being traded from the Quebec Capitales to Shaumburg. On 10-Jun-2008 he was released by Rockford. On 12-Jun-2008 he was signed by the Windy City Thunderbolts, also in the Frontier League.
